Designed and folded by me, Chad Killeen. Folded from one uncut square of origamido paper. Designed ....um... some time ago, I don't know when. But revised in January 2009.This model is almost identical to my previous cicada design (which can be seen on my flickr account) with the exception of the pleated abdomen.
The paper is actually a shiny brown (which I was rather reluctant to use but I'm kinda running out of my nice paper) but in this lighting it came out looking green-ish, so thats good!

I am here in Hawaii now with Michael Lafosse, I love his hand made paper. I've made some nice models sitting and chatting with Michael. I'll let him know that you used his paper to make this. He will be very happy to see it.
