Featuring the superheroine known as the Steel Sparrow and her encounter with a gorgon-like being:

Bethany knew it was a bad idea to explore the Gargoyle Chamber alone at night. After all, she had only been playing the role of a superheroine for a short time. But if there was a homicidal maniac who was responsible for the disappearances of several people and he or she was hiding in the shadows of this stone sanctuary, Bethany had to bring them to justice.

The Chamber itself was a strange museum that held statues made of marble, limestone, sandstone and various kinds of terra cotta. She couldn't believe how life-like some of the statues appeared.

As she moved in to get a closer look, a guttural voice from behind whispered: "Flesh ... into ... stone".

Bethany tried to turn around but found she could not move. Her limbs felt heavy, stiff. The soft amber glow of her skin gave way to concrete grey.

The creature in the shadows stood back and admired it's work. The blue-haired bombshell known as the Steel Sparrow had been transformed into a living statue. The Stone Sparrow! It did not know if she was even conscious or aware of what was going on. Not that it mattered anymore. She was just a thing now. A thing to be placed on display with the other statues that were once living beings composed of flesh and blood. And there was a special area up front reserved just for her!

The monster wondered if the people of the city would find it unusual that the disappearance of the popular heroine coincided with the Chamber's new display? Would they discover the secrets of his museum?

What the beast did not know is that the mysterious properties of the Sparrow suit was at work reversing the Gorgon's spell. But this was not going to be a quick fix. Once living flesh has been transformed into solid stone, it would be extraordinarily difficult to reverse the spell. The Steel Sparrow might be standing still in the same position for days or even months. But once she returned to normal, the Gorgon would be in serious trouble!
