Description
A male pitaquill! This little bird is a forest spirit that collects the fanciest flowers it can find to decorate it's little cap with. It keeps the stems dipped in a small cup on it's head that keeps them fresh and beautiful. The pitaquill with the fanciest hat gets all the hens. Boys decorate with fancy flowers and colors while ladies tend to favor leaves and grasses.Done in Photoshop

Ohhhh gosh, thank you that means a lot to me. I think I still paint the same way, even though its with a different medium? It can be really frustrating sometimes though! I'm so used to how water reacts to paper, but pixels have such precise control. *__*

I think he looks like a little dusty golden bun that's been freshly baked and rolled away. 8'Dc

That has to be the most adorable thing I've seen all day. The description makes me like it even more.
I must say, those poppies look really well done. Be it the textures you're using or what I don't know, but it's definitely working in your favour.
The bird itself has a lovely illustrative feel about it, love the pattern of it's feathers and I like how his wee face still 'pop's out.
Anyways, I'll stop rambling and leave you be. Keep up the good work, it's a joy looking at your stuff!

You're definitely welcome, mate! I'd say you're definitely on target. Took me a way while to figure out whether it was traditional or not, which is hear is quite an acheivement with digital.
