It was such an awful night, the fringed wind was cold and the rain was so heavy it was enough to chock on. However what made this night so hard to endure was the wait, staring out into the darkness Lottie had been waiting with her sisters for a sign of the search party.

Where were they?

why was it taking so long?

The more time that passed the heavier the rain felt of her pelt, chilling her deeper until her bones had started to ache.
Then finally they were there, the longed for silhouette of the petrol.

They were back!

Hope fuelled her excitement as she ran forward, approaching her exhausted father.

"Dad!"

However as she neared her heart sunk, slowing to a halt the look on her fathers face told her everything.

"y-you didn't find her?"

Just like that... Rose was gone.
