Cole was watcng over the egg when suddenly he was sure he saw it wiggle a little. Overjoyed that it might hatch soon he cuddled the egg closer to him before carefully hoisting it over himself with his soft wings and paws. He cooed lovingly at it and kept it close and warm as he watched the sun slowly climbing over the horizon.
