This is what I love about your paintings -- I actually feel like I've seen them before, but yet I haven't. The scenery is familiar but foreign at the same time, and that's wonderful! (A bit confusing, but wonderful all the same!)

Yes YY. I have a few tubes of black; lamp black, ivory black, graphite gray. I use them a lot in my watercolor.

ic, my watercolor teacher always told us not to use black, instead, we could use mixture or few color to make the darkcolor. he said that black color will looked "dead", if use mixture of color, the "black" will more attractive..
just my opinion, hope u don mind.
