I did not know about this. Now I'm both pissed and slightly frightened. (Lol no one would trace off me though)
But that's ridiculous. To me, tracing is only acceptable when one does it for concept - to understand how something is drawn, like a hand or a head at an odd angle. But those should never be posted here, nor should they ever have credit stolen away from the original artist. It's a terrible practice really, and there are much better ways to learn than that. When did you notice this though? Did an admin bluntly spit it out?! Because that would just add insult to injury.

I've been thinking of leaving ever since I've seen the artist community of the internet. Like, really, fuck this community.
Art theft is everywhere so I don't feel safe posting anything online and getting well known anymore. I feel like checking out of the artist community completely. I feel like just retreating to Chatango and sticking with The Eevee Clan as a family I can hang with and I can get by just fine.
