=blisterine66 made some pieces inspired on Edie Sedgwick a while ago too, she is a 60's icon.
I like the laidback feeling of this one, nice work.

a few things...
(a)... that you composed and modeled for this shot is amazing... i don't know how you manage such strong composition while doing both... congrats...
(b)... i love that you're using edie as inspiration... very smartly done...
(c)... i'm not one to highlight prurient content, but it can't go unnoticed... that is one sexy shot... very 60's-70's pulp fiction... it really works well... especially the image's ability to connote time as well as sensuality...

thank you so much for the input! i really really appreciate it
it is pretty challenging to compose, and model and everything in between..
it was a very sudden and out of the blue idea i got ..and decided to try it.
i was kind of pleased with the results..just wanted it to be a little sharper, better quality, i think..
i got a positive reaction on flick for these, and the 4 polas set was even on yahoo explore!
only one person left me a comment that i thought was so out of contest, it upset me a little..here the comment she left(she's 20 btw):
"nice
but way overdone
(there is an amatuerish quality of taking pictures of feet...i think every photographer goes through this period)"
boy, i was PISSED..feet?! do you see feet pictures in these?!
yeah, i'm still trying to get over this, haha.
i don't mind critisism, of course, but i take pride in NOT taking pictures of feet, i don't know where she got that from!
sorry for the rant

rant away, woman, rant away!...
i think the person who left that comment didn't take the time to look at your work (as a larger body)... in the larger context, it is obviously not just a picture of feet... or of legs (to be more precise than she was)... it is about a lot of things...
maybe it is her age... certainly, she wouldn't understand the cultural reference... or the appropriateness of the material used... hell, she might not even recognize polaroid...
as for the quality of the image (the sharpness to which you referred), it is perfectly fine for the what it is... it isn't supposed to be some ultra-fine-edged digital image... at least, that is my opinion... (smile)...

That is lame! Very Very Lame, because
a) this is so not a feet photo. This has too many (lovely) elements to be so.
b) what is a feet photo? Who cares if any photo is anyways? As long as its done well and in a different perspective, who cares.

yeah, i thought it was lame..i didn't want to sound like i can't take critisism..but that was just the wrong observation! are you on flick at all?

yes, i am actually on flickr!
But boy, do I know what you mean. I like critisism, but when its rude or just out of the context, its just rude and not critisism. I once was told that the fact some of my polas were blurry made them dull?
