Carmen and Sonya walk into the house and take off their shoes.)
Carmen: ah it's so much cooler in here.
Sonya: Yes it is. Now come and sit with me on the couch haven't got to see you in so long.
Carmen: I've only been gone for a year and we talk on the phone like every other day.
( They both sit down on the couch as Sonia leans over closer to Carmen)
Sonya: But this is the 1st time that I've seen you person since you left and I wanna see my grand kids.
(Sonya lifts up Carmen shirt and places her head on top of her belly)
Carmen: *sigh* you're always so hands on. (Placing her hand on top of Sonya's head)
( They sat there for a little while. A feeling of warmth just crossed over them sitting there enjoying the moment.)
Sonya: I wish we could stay like this forever.
Carmen: Same here mom, same here.
( They sat there enjoying this moment of time as long as possible).
