Jinora has recieved her airbending master tattoos. Kai congratulates her and gives her a panda lily.I think it can't be too long before Jinora gets her tattoos now that they even mentioned it in an episode.
And somehow when I draw Jinora bald with arrow tattoos she ends up looking extremely much like Aang. :/
Anyway, hope you like it!

Yeah I actually took the time to look and Jinora has Aang's face! xD there are pictures on the internet of Aang with Jinora's hair because they look so alike! c: Anywho amazing pic! But I'm pretty sure Jinora would keep her hair since she is a girl ^-^ It's really only boys who shave off their heads completely.

When they first brought up that she should get her tattoos, i was just like "no! Aang didn't get his until he was 12, and that was the youngest recorded age for someone to become a 'master' at airbending. Why does Jinora think she can get her tattoos when she's only 10?!"

She's basically Aang with hair and brown eyes. I'm sure that when she shaves her head to get her tats, she's going to look exactly like Aang until her hair grows back.

but then i read the description ^^ wow, i love your art style, it looks exactly like the show's! if i didn't know any better i would've thought this was a screencap!!!
just a side-note, i think female airbenders don't have to shave their full head to get their airbender tattoos. i think only their forehead, so i'm not sure Jinora is actually going to end up bald when she gets her tattoos XD

I think the females would have to shave their heads initially, because the tattoos go on the back of the head and neck. But I think then they can grow their hair back, so long as the forehead arrow is visible.

About the tattoos: I haven't found any information about how female airbenders shave before they get their tattoos, but I figured since the tattoos go from the forehead all the way down along the spine they would probably have to shave across the whole head. And it seems unlikely that they would leave the hair on the sides, that would just look weird. I think they shave it all off. But as I said, I don't know for sure.
