Hopefully, this will cheer some folks up from some recent events. I'm too hyped for The Great Race that I finally decided to draw the international characters, starting with the beautiful one: Ashima.I did my best to not copy other people's human versions of her so I think this came out good.
PLEASE be patient with me as I try to draw the other characters. I've got Vinnie next, and then Yong Bao following.
Thomas and Friends belong to HIT Entertainment.

(Ashima turns in thomas' direction and looks embarrassed. Thomas however stood in wonder at the beautiful girl)
Ashima: I'm very sorry. I truly never meant to bump into you. I just didn't realize you were behind me.

Salty noticed Thomas was speechless and, taking Thomas's chin, he made it look like he was talking.
Salty: *trying to talk for Thomas* Thank you for saving me. My name's Thomas Billinton. What's yours?
Thomas: *takes back control* Salty!
Salty: Don't be silly, Thomas. She can't be called Salty. That's my name.

Ashima: My name is Ashima.

Thomas couldn't say another word properly. He was grateful Ashima had saved him, and he thought she looked very pretty. But he was still upset and felt rather jealous of her.
Thomas: Well I can't stand around here all day. *accidentally backs into Porter*

He doesn't. Remember, he was cross of her, then became her friend. Just because he let her win doesn't mean he has a crush on her, he was doing good sportsmanship, also, Ashima had returned to India after the Great Railway Show like Rajiv, Vinnie, Yong Bao, Raul, Gina, Ivan and all the other railway show engines.

(Thomas looked inside the cab, to the driver who pushed him and his engine. He sees a girl about a year older than him, dressed in beautiful colors as she stepped into the sunlight)
Ashima: I'm very sorry. I truly never meant to bump into your engine. I just didn't realize you were behind me.

Lily: (jumps out of the cab and sees the grumpy look on Thomas' face) Ahem, thank you for helping us dear.
Salty: (pretending to be Thomas) Err... Thank you for rescuing us, my name is Thomas and this is Lily. What's your name?
Thomas: (hears Salty's cheeky joke) Salty!
Salty: (laughs) Oh no Thomas, she can't be Salty, that's my name! (everyone except for Thomas laugh)
