I have been working on this since December...THREE! DAMN! MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! But OH MY GOD! Was it worth it!
I am very very proud of this piece! I wanted this to be a milestone in my digital art. The shading of the clothes and the skin, the texture in the hair, and the beautiful jewelry....it all adds up to this! I broke a personal record of my many layers I used....
As you can see, I tried to incorporate all of Ashima's paintwork patterns onto her outfit. I think the traditional saree suits her very well!
I hope you all enjoy this piece! I had so much fun working on it and experimenting with my techniques, and I hope to improve more and more.

First of all, wow. Your use of bright colors and vivid decals on her clothes make her stand out from other artwork. Her face, necklaces, and bracelets are astounding and look like a real representation of Ashima if she were to be humanized. I'm not surprised that it took three months to do this, as if it were completed any faster, the quality might have dropped (like how Thomas almost did, I should say). This represents the Indian culture greater than I ever thought it would. Nevertheless, this is, and will always continue to be, a great piece of artwork.
