I get that there are those who dislike Charlie but I personally view him differently. I really preferred ilovetrains323's persona of him ( youtu.be/Fz9UwXHE7-M) that I thought after Charlie learns his lessons and redeems his jokes, he could still share a joke only when a friend is feeling down or needs cheering up. Kinda like Pinkie Pie from MLP.
