Description
With the introduction of the "new" Darkwing Duck Drake Mallard (in show, the "original" was played by Jim Starling), many fans have started to wonder if Ducktales might be trying to amass its own Avengers style team.
The original Darkwing Duck had its own Avengers/Justice League team called the Justice Ducks, and interestingly Disney was considering a spin off cartoon that included brand new heroes besides DW, Morgana and the others. This was unfortunately scrapped, though it might be fun to see the Justice Ducks revisited through Ducktales.
Given how the series is structured more as a love letter to The Disney Afternoon and its accompanying properties than it is Uncle Scrooge and the original Ducktales, I'd be surprised if we DIDN'T get a new Justice Ducks ... something.

Storkules would make a great Justice Duck. If he was in the original Darkwing Duck show, he couldβve gave the Fearsome Five a real hard time.

Nice!, i as well have been thinking about the possibility of a Rebooted Justice Ducks with Gizmoduck, Darkwing Duck and Storkules as the founding members of the team, who knows, perhaps down the road they will reintroduce Morgana, Stegmutt and Neptunia
Although there are other candidates around as well, like Dijinn, even Beakley aka Agent 22 is a retired spy, she could be the Black Widow of the group, with Gizmoduck obviously being Iron Man, while Storkules would be Thor and Darkwing would be Captain America, if we are going strictly Avengers comparison, otherwise Darkwing would obviously be the Batman of the group
Donald was even a Superhero known as The Duck Avenger or Superduck or Paperinik, he would obviously be the Superman of the group if they incorporated him into the new Ducktales

I could totally see PK/Duck Avenger being included. Heck we could see some new version of PK through Della.
Morgana is another big one, considering the show's love of the magical and supernatural, it'd be shocked if she wasn't in the series.Β
Stegmutt I could see being the result of Waddle experimentation, and he defects to the McDuck side for some reason.

I could totally see Gizmoduck, Darkwing Duck and Storkules assembling during the Moonlander Invasion during the Finale, it would Mirror The Avengers assembling to defeat Loki and the Chitauri Invading and The Justice League being formed to defeat Steppenwolf and his Army of Parademons who are also Invading
It falls into place perfectly, then during the course of the upcoming Ducktales Seasons, they can Introduce Morgana, Stegmutt, Neptunia and possibly The Duck Avenger, Duck Avenger could be the Superman, Morgana being Scarlet Witch, Stegmutt as Hulk and Neptunia as the Aquaman of the groupΒ

Considering we got the Fearsome Five, Darkwing and Launchpad, I'd say Gosalyn is a strong possibility along with other characters.

The Duck Knight Returns is simply the best episode ever in Ducktales! My sister and I used to watch Darkwing Duck and seeing the birth of a new Darkwing and Negaduck was awesome! ππ Let's get dangerous!

Totally awesome! I will admit I was a little unnerved at the "classic" Darkwing doing what he did, but I saw what they were doing and it was pretty genius in the end.

I'll be honest man...I fell in love with The Duck Knight Returns, we got a more organic "NEGA-DUCK" with a bigger design difference, a more humble but near paragon like Darkwing Duck, frankly I wanna see a B-Team )B-Team being, Darkwing Duck/Drake Mallard, Launchpad, and a Goslyn that's got attitude, more spice to her and is even more adventure crazy than the boys and Webby); because we all know who the A-Team is (Scrooge, The Boys, Webby, sometimes Beakley and I suppose Gizmo Duck).
I just can't wait to see more of DW~!
