Burrick Family from Thief: The Dark Project. hinted that he wanted to seeΒ more burrick art here on DA, and since I love these guys, I couldn't resist! I tried to get creative with the mushrooms, making them glowie and such. I imagine burricks are scavengers/opportunists, so anything they can find is fair game ^-^Related content

Yup. Β That was terrible. Β I also might have gotten a bit 'uncharacteristically violent' asΒ Garrett, when I witnessed the Pagan genocide they committed as well. I know not everyone likes the Pagans, but they've always been one of my favorite factions.

That Trail Of Blood village was very saddening and infuriating. Viktoria and Constantine wronged Garrett, but those peaceful Pagans didn't deserve to be massacred like that. That's another level where I killed all the Mechanists.Β

I do kinda wonder where that village was located. The Maw was obviously separate from the village, so presumably the village was somewhere in The City. But then...how'd the Mechanists find it?Β

Burricks...they've always disgusted, frightened and annoyed me. This drawing is the first time I've ever felt any warm feelings for them.
It has that classic hand animated look. It reminds me of The Secret of Nimh or the first Land Before Time or the old Hobbit cartoon. I like it.

Again, thank you for such a kind and insightful comment! I will admit, I do draw some inspiration for art from Don Bluth's movies, as well as certain animes. Emotion is always one of the tools that I use in both my art and writing, so it helps tremendously.
I'm one of those rare few who actually really loves burricks (at least it seems that way sometimes, ha!) I think they're kinda cute :3
