From my story, "Stealth and Witchcraft".

The Wood Beast represents Gwenevere's god blood. When faced with a sudden surge of negitive emotions/energy, she is automatically transformed into this abomination. She does regain some control whilst changed, but very little.

The Wood Beast is a massive entity. A hulking form of both bear and wolf, it stands about 15 feet at the shoulder, and has lion-sized paws. It's maw is both strong enough and large enough to bite a man in half, or likewise, carry one (both examples happen in the story). It is a nature spirit, its body composed of moss, vines and ivy. It's legs and paws are heavy bark, as is its snout. It's claws and fangs are thick thorns. The flowers on its tail are fluffy and white, with pale yellow tints.
