I'm gonna be honest, I actually didn't dislike the original design, my only problem with it was that it didn't feel like a Pokemon. This design isn't much better in that regard, but it's definitely MORE Pokemon like. Also, changed the name to flow better.

Design Notes:
I made the pin fur into pink designs on the chest, and then realized that actually, those could be salt crystals. Perhaps this Pokemon draws power from them?
Most of this design was changing proportions; making the arms larger, neck longer, torse smaller, etc. Exaggeration of proportions helps something feel more like a Pokemon.
I really struggled with the legs and hips. I still don't really like them, but I think they're slightly better than the original.
The additions of the "sleeves" was kind of an accident, but one that I ended up liking and making a full thing. Then I made the arms extra big to emphasis the hands. This did lead to me getting rid of the tail, so that it didn't distract from the silhouette of the arms.
If you notice the styling is slightly different from the others, that's because for this redesign I decided to use a paint over method, since that helps try out quick ideas and form things as I go.
