Howdy! You asked me to critique your work so I figured I'd do that here.
You have some solid construction on the guy here, and the drawings are posed decently, but the timing in many places is unnatural feeling. As an example, the bow at the beginning is a linear up and down motion evenly paced without enough attention to the easing between the up and down motion, or how for example the weight of the head during the bow would cause the head to hang a bit before pulling up with the body, etc. In cases like this, I would suggest trying to act out these motions (where possible) and actually "feel" it. Feel how long it takes to do one of these motions, pay attention to all the small details you don't normally notice as you're moving, and try to imagine those things as you're animating your character. If you're having trouble doing that, it also helps to look up reference; perhaps looking up some martial arts videos and step through their motion. Get an understanding of the timing in their movements. For Korra, I know they filmed a TON of this kind of reference for their animators. They never rotoscoped, but they used it to help them get a feel for the movements, and how to make them appear natural. Observing real life is a very good first step to learning how to animate well. From there you can exaggerate those movements to get the desired effect for your piece.
Aside from getting the timing of your motion down, it all comes down to drawing fundamentals. Like I mentioned before, you have some solid construction here, but there's some issues with consistency in his anatomy and clothing, etc. That could be worked out doing a tie-down pass, but still worth pointing out!

Thank you so much, yeah I totally know what you mean about the bow and timing, this is far from finished and I will be working on it sometime in the future, might even start over from scratch but with the intention of capturing the same actions but with better pacing. Thank you so much!
