Frollo's condescending smile became more strained as she passed to his side of the table.

"All this time, I haven't been able to properly thank you for rescuing me," she said. "I realize now what you must have gone through, trying to help me, knowing what happened to your brother."

Frollo was no longer smiling. He stared at Margaret the way so many commoners had looked up at him when he pronounced their sentence from the bench.

So, who wants to prescribe my penance for posting this?

Poor clueless Margaret, thinking she has Frollo pinned down. He's just a lonely, frustrated old man, but somewhere deep down, he's got a heart of gold. It would probably help if she knew he's sealed her father's death sentence.

Yes, I know he's missing his rings. Margaret's also missing her headband. It's evening, they're chillin' out. And I'm lazy. Watch me go back, draw the rings, and re-upload in a few days.
