Description Today I finally worked up the courage to draw Quasimodo, my favorite Disney hero. He's not as difficult as I thought, but I'll probably continue to rely heavily on the model sheet for another week or two. The trick is dealing with that neck and getting his back properly positioned. He's so pliable!

I'm pretty proud of his baby self down there in the bottom left corner. As if he weren't cute enough already!

These are great drawings but to me he looks older than a baby. Other than that great job!

Thanks so much! Only the bottom left is meant to be younger, but I'm still playing with the design. I think larger eyes would help, don't you think?

Mmm Sometimes people draw babies without large eyes. I guess it all depends on your taste. Either way good stuff

Actually, I used old pencil and paper for this one. It's still easier and freer than the tablet, which I'm saving for ink and paint. I've come to the conclusion that, while I CAN sketch on the tablet, the results are often less fluid. The lines look more computerized here because the work was clean, and I was able to tweak the levels in GIMP. You remind me how badly I need to finish some coloring work-in-progress, though. . . .
