Oh my god my hand hurts a lot! But this is my first attempt in YEARS with Photoshop. Of course Shadow and Sonic were gonna be my guinea-pigs for this.
Yes, well I'm sorry for the depressing theme but I NEEDED to get it out of my head.. that and it was a tedious process of 3 days or more + procrastination.
It's up to you if you think Sonic is dead or clinging to life, totally up to you guys..
The foreground was a pain to do... it's just shadowed out lines of rocks and metal parts from Eggman's base.
There was a loud explosion and the two fell into an air pocket... I guess that some context I can give you guys.. It's also somewhat based of a piece of writing I'm working on.
Another thing that annoyed me was the shadowing around, mostly, Sonic's body which I then over lapped with the skylight.
I think Shadow's shading came out quite well considering black isn't always an easy colour to work with...
I owe it all to my left hand, brain and plug-in tablet.

I'm 100% Sonadow, I don't mind being "flexible" with all the other characters, I dunno I just Shadow and Sonic as the perfect match. I mean who wouldn't love another person who could run as fast as you, not to mention conversations can be like a tennis-match, if they have the whole friendly-rival thing hahaha
Shadow acts all emotionless because of being known as a 'living weapon', and the whole thing that went down on the ARK 50 years ago. I think someone as fun and 'out-there' as Sonic would be able to get him to open up. As long as it doesn't result in Shadow getting pissed and wanting to hit the poor guy XD
I really like pairing Silver with Blaze, in the 2006 game, they looked really good together, I'd even pair Silver with Knuckles or Espio ;3

Hey that is ok don't try that i love Sonaodw. Sonadow is hote and number 4 of my best couples. I like Shadilver more because see are just like yin and yang and i like Sonamy more for Sonic. Can i now love Shadilver??? XD

..I don't particularly like Amy, which is a shame because she's interesting to draw. If she wasn't so obsessive (In Sonic X and the video games I found her very annoying) She's alright in the comics though..
