I've been meaning to show this for awhile, had the figures drawn for a number of months now.

In Jumplight Odyssey, the faction that chases the Pleidians are heavily inspired by the Gamilians from Yamato. In a stroke of inspiration one night, I decided to draw a Zutopan woman (left).

This got picked up on, and the fanbase declared this must be the Overlord's daughter. That sucked for me, because I did imagine her as at least less inclined to be all overlord-y unlike her father.So I had to draw a sister that'd make her not get labeled as a bad guy. I drew someone heavily inspired by that villainess from Gundam 0083, and mostly dressed her up as her father.

So you get goody-two-shoes waifu that'll perch herself on the back of your bike, and her big sister who'll take up her father's mantle to run the empire.

Background is the Zutopan flagship from the game's cinematic.

Jumplight Odyssey's development is unfortunately paused at this time. I don't know if they'll start working on the game back, time will tell. Despite this setback, people are still drawing fanart and making fanfics.
