so I decided to draw something different from a change. the idea for this started back when I was doing a project researching native-american folklore, I came across this one tale that told of a creature called Uktena, huge serpent like creature that had antlers like a stag, wings of a bird and a large jewel in-crested on it's forehead and they sounded like a pretty awesome creature to me and wanted to draw a pic of it someday. so I finally got my lazy bum and did it, as you can see this pic was exhausting for me(so many snake scales 0.0), but I am very proud of how it turned out. probably the most impressive pic I have done in a while.this artwork is now available at my society6 store! I have to agree with you, this is one of most impressive pieces you've done! I love the depth, how the Uktena is springing out at you, and the lighting and colour scheme really adds to the sense of danger it poses!
This was one of artwork I was going to feature in my journal before my laptop decided to poop out on me, so I'm gonna fave it and return for it once I'm able to do that feature.

Ha ha, I can imagine. Just be careful, won't you, so you don't strain yourself. I did and I had pains in my wrist for months afterwards and then I got myself a tablet, thankfully, so I don't get that kind of over-exertion anymore.
