^v^ Someone asked how you paint their faces. I use Faber Castel watercolor pencils, Schmincke pastels, craft acrylic paint, Tamiya gloss & Volks shine pearl powder.
xD And if you don't know already, she is a "BJD" or Ball-jointed-doll. They are expensive handmade dolls cast in resin that are highly customizable. She comes from this company: [link]

Watrcolor pencils? o___o'' Does the gloss make them waterproof? Does it smear when you add gloss?

xD No, it doesn't smear when you add gloss. ^v^ See, when you paint their faces you spray sealant in layers so that way if you touch it or anything it won't get messed up. So basically when you use watercolor pencils (or anything really) on their faces, you spray sealant on afterward and it wont get messed up! ^v^ I hope that makes sense~

Omigoodness, thank you! I've been wondering about a spray sealant and gloss for other projects (not BJD, as wonderful as that would be-- just too expensive for me OTL) . It's very helpful! ;w;

;v; Oh! The sealant I use by the way is called Mr. Super Clear Flat. >w< It works super well and has lots of "tooth" to hold pigment an such. Q3Q Just be sure to spray it with proper respiratory protection!

It depends, usually it takes me about 5 hours or so to finish working on their faces. As far as modifications, I think i've spent about the same amount of time as well~
