some days, I find myselfswallowed by regret for
dreams found too late
wishes hidden, denied
beneath skin that
bruises too easily
still, I find myself
smiling at the blank
paper at my fingertips
for my story is
only half-written,
and the pen is in
my hands now

That album and the one with Pocketful of Sunshine on it are both great albums. Those are the only two I know so far.

I'm not in love with Pocketful of Sunshine. But I haven't given it a good listen. I had to listen to the lyrics of Unwritten more than once to really appreciate them.

Oh, I love that song. The chorus really speaks to me:

The Unwritten album has some fabulous songs on it, too. One of the songs (I don't know remember the name) talks about wanting to be dropped in and causing a ripple effect - I love that one. And another about darkness doesn't always lead to rain...something like that. It's great.

The last line is excellent, the use of enjambment from the previous stanza and the meaning itself. I think the word 'now' is well placed.
