Was inspired by Picasso's blue period art (have a project in Spanish). I wanted to draw something related to what happened in Japan, so I decided to practice at first. The main problem with this is that she's smiling and it's supposed to be sad :/ So I added tears on.

Well anyways, I felt that she looked like Katniss (to me at least). This is when she sees her sister for the last time (I haven't read Mockingjay in a while, so this may be a little inaccurate...whether or not she had this expression).

That was horrible though the way things ended. Normally an author would make a death acceptable, like in Fire by Kristin Cashore (READ IT. It's a good book ^__^) but I felt like the deaths in Mockingjay weren't acceptable.

And have you heard about the movie for Hunger Games? I don't know if Jennifer Lawrence will be a good Katniss...how about you?
