I am so very excited that this afghan is completed! I finished weaving in the strings last weekend. But, I don't think of a project as really complete until I have a nice picture to share.

I began crocheting this about 6 years ago, I think. I had intended to use it on my Reiki table. I finished a good chunk of it, and stuck it in the corner for a few years. I felt it is time to move it along.

The pattern for this afghan was originally published by Hershners in 1997. I came upon it through Pinterest (connect with me here on Pinterest ).

I crocheted this in Red Heart Supersaver yarn.

When this project was in its beginnings, I recall listening to spiritual podcasts while crocheting it. I remember one in particular that my dear departed friend Shirley B was on. While finishing this project, I watched "Superstore," "Unexplained," and "Time Team."
