Description Another digital reworking of a traditional drawing of mine.
I've actually spent more time on this version than the original one.

I am doing this to help me learn photoshop properly.

The original is in my scraps HERE

I have used a reference for the original, which caries over to this version, naturally.

really great looks very classy and professional
even though it looks like almost two pictures. one picture shows the wave. the other shows the woman. look how blurry the water is compared to the woman.

You are right, the water doesn't look very good.
It comes from the fact that it's a rework on an older, traditional drawing...
I liked the water and just decided to work on the woman, but I did so much to the woman that the wave now looks a bit 'wrong'
I might put some extra work on it at a later time.

I wish I could say something else but ”awesome” but I’m at loss of words. The style reminds a lot of traditional painting, especially the part where the woman’s dress seems to merge with the waves.

I also have to add that I love the colours! Beautiful work!

that is pretty crazy, i like the coloring and i think the color of the water is fine. the best of this is the woman though, the detail is really great!

Hmmm, I might take a look at what it would look like if toned the water down a bit, I never tried that. thanks for the feedback!
