Curious: As with many younger wolves, Selene's curiosity knows no bounds; she's always poking her nose in places, sometimes even where it's not wanted. She soaks up knowledge like a sponge and is often found attentively listening to the elders' stories about the past. She has an odd habit of remembering seemingly random factoids.

Loyal: Selene sticks by her pack members and those she cares for. She views pack life as one large family, each wolf caring for and protecting one another. Trust and loyalty are of the utmost importance to Selene; break that and you'll be the recipient of the cold shoulder for a long time.

Motivated: Simply put, Selene wants to be the best she can be. Every opportunity is a chance to improve something and better herself so she can provide for her pack. She errs slightly on the side of perfectionism, but this strictly applies to herself. However, her internal motivation does have an affect on her stubborn and competitive nature.

Stubborn: Unless you have very strong evidence against her, don't try getting into an argument with Selene. Her morals and beliefs are solidly set in stone. It's not that she believes she is always right and can do no wrong, rather, Selene holds true to what she thinks is right and doesn't exactly take 'no' for an answer.

Hyperactive: There seems to be no 'off' switch on this wolf. Constantly bouncing and jumping around, it's no wonder she stays so thin even while eating enough for an average wolf. Selene has a very difficult time keeping still, and her fidgetyness can quickly get on the nerves of those less-patient. Most of the time, Selene is unconscious of her hyper tendencies and has little control over them.

Competitive: Due to her strong internal drive, Selene comes off as pretty darn competitive. In training, practise, or hunting, she will always try to one-up the top wolf. Often, this leads to brief squabbles between her and her peers, although her sunny temperment doesn't let anyone stay angry for long. Those who don't really know Selene might easily label her as 'cocky', but in truth she just wants to do her best and prove herself.

Pre-Group History: Born in late spring to a small-ish family pack, Selene was one of five pups and the only female born to the litter. This was not her parents' first litter, so there were a number of older siblings to play with. Her puppy days were spent play-fighting with her brothers and 'hunting' her older siblings' tails. As months passed, another litter was born and some of her older siblings began to leave the pack, setting off to find mates of their own with which to start their own packs. Selene hated to see them go and promised herself that she would never leave her family. At her age, Selene didn't see the point in wanting to find a mate and have pups of her own. Having done her fair share of pup-sitting the newest litter, Selene was in no rush to have little annoying furballs of her own. By the time Selene reached the beginning of young adulthood, all her brothers had left the pack. One winter, while the pack was hunting some elk, Selene became distracted by some foreign tracks in the snow. Following the trail, she came upon a large cave, whereupon she accidentally startled a young grizzly bear that was preparing to hibernate. Thanks to her speed, and the bear's lack of interest in pursuing her, Selene was able to escape, only to realise that she had become hopelessly lost. Nothing looked or smelled familiar. Disoriented, Selene desperately searched for her family, continuing to tire herself out until she all but collapsed from exhaustion. Day turned into night and into day again, but it was no use. Her family had most likely moved on with the elk and Selene was left behind. Upset that she had broken her promise to herself, Selene wandered aimlessly through the forest for a few days before stumbling upon the Kausen pack's territory. There, she hoped to regain a family and prove to them that she could be a great asset to the Kausen pack.
