Entry for #PhollowersoftheOpera's "Phantom in Another Time Period" Contest.

The idea was to place the story of The Phantom of the Opera in a non-Victorian time period. I chose 1940s style detective/film noir as a suitable setting. The current picture shows the Apollo's Lyre scene. Raoul, as the hero, is in the main role. Christine plays the mysterious woman who walks into his life. She appears to be a victim, but there's more to her than appearances suggest. And Erik is the villainous criminal mastermind whose former gangster lifestyle is catching up with him in the form of the (codename) Persian, an ex-hitman for the mob whose true loyalties are unknown! Ok, ok, the picture doesn't show all that stuff, but whatever.

It's also only half finished. I broke my tablet pen while working on this, so I guess it just is what it is.
