Also Black Star’s Maddness of Power will not be in this fight also since Black Star has surpassed it and no longer has it throughout the entire Soul Eater story*

Black ☆Star & Tsubaki – one of the main protagonists of Soul Eater. In a world where demons known as Kishin roam the world eating and devouring the souls of humans to gain power, a school was formed by the Lord Death himself to train humans with the ability to transform into weapons, as well as the wielders of those weapons called Meisters to protect the world and preserve peace. There are many phenomenal students with extortionary abilities and skill, one of these students is the last survivor of the infamous Star Clan and his partner is a member of the Nakatsukasa Clan. He is one of the top three fighters of DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy), he is the mighty assassin Black☆Star and his weapon partner Tsubaki Nakatsukasa the Dark Arm. Thirteen years prior to the main story, Black☆Star was born as the son of White☆Star of the Star Clan. The Star Clan were a group of assassins that would do anything for money and were known for their ruthless methods. They became renowned for their attacks and killings in various parts of Japan to the point where they started devouring human souls for power. Having violated the rules established by the DWMA, the organization eliminated the majority of the clan for their crimes except for Black ☆Star who was an infant at the time. Baby Black☆Star was then taken in by the DWMA and raised by his soon to be homeroom teacher Sid Barrett. Somewhere along the line Black☆Star would encounter the kind hearted Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, finally having a weapon partner of his own. Tsubaki was born a member of the Nakatsukasa Clan, a family of famous Japanese Demon Weapons. The famous trait of the Nakatsukasa Clan is that one member of each generation possesses the special ability to transform into multiple ninja weapons, while other members are only born with the standard ability to transform into one Weapon. Tsubaki's older brother, Masamune, was supposed to be the one passed down with the multiple Weapon forms but was passed down to Tsubaki instead. Masamune began to develop an inferiority complex and began to walk the path of becoming a Kishin soon to be called the Uncanny Sword. To become stronger and stop her brother, Tsubaki became a student of DWMA and found Black☆Star and since then the two while somewhat an unorthodox duo, became an incredible team. Black☆Star through his assassin and meister training has made him a formidable fighter. He’s stronger, faster, and more durable than the average human. While he may not be the sharpest tool in the box but when it comes to combat he’s considered a genius whether hand to hand or the many fighting styles with each weapon form Tsubaki can take. All meisters and weapons use energy called their soul wavelength to perform powerful attacks, for Black☆Star the amount of energy in his soul wavelength is larger then most and can perform stronger versions of basic wavelength attacks. Soul Menace drives his wavelength into another person through a physical strike by resonating his soul wavelength with himself, causing both direct and internal damage. He has a variation called World Destruction Cannon, a powerful palm strike that releases a quick burst of his wavelength. Black Star Big Wave strikes with an elbow strike to stun opponents from behind before sending a large amount of Soul Energy into his opponent through a strong punch. He can also release his soul wavelength through his body to look like electricity through his palms. Black Star is strong enough to lift a block of stone and is fast enough to leave afterimages and vanish from sight. As a weapon of the Nakatsukasa Clan, Tsubaki can transform into multiple ninja weapons; a kusarigama, a large shuriken, a ninjato, a smoke bomb, and after defeating her brother and absorbing his soul gained his Uncnany Sword form which allows her and Black Star to manipulate shadows and is Tsubaki’s strongest form. Tsubaki also had some ninja training as well, she knows all fighting styles Black Star does and can even transform into Black Star and mimic his voice and behavior with Dummy Star. She also carries dual ninja swords, smoke bombs, and shurikens. Other than being able to transform into different weapons, Tsubaki because of her caring personality is able to be wielded by other meisters like in the one fight Maka Albarn used Tsubaki in Kusarigama form. When both preform Soul Resonance by combing their wavelengths they boost their power and grants them new techniques. Trap Star while Tsubaki in her kusarigama form shapes into a star-shaped chain on the ground around Black Star, allowing him to sense anyone who enters the boundaries of the chain before Tsubaki's chain binds them, making them unable to move. Shield Star creates a golden star shield for defense. Speed Star while Tsubaki’s in Ninja Sword mode increases Black Star's speed to the point where his movements can't be seen to the human eye. Shadow Star when Tsubaki is in Uncanny Sword mode gives Tsubaki control of Black Star's shadow, letting her manipulate it into bladed tendrils for combat. By combining the Uncanny Sword's power with Tsubaki's other weapon forms, Tsubaki can transform into Shadow Star Weapons. Shadow Star: First Form-Chain of Blackness is a combination of Shadow Star and Kusarigama mode combines the two scythes into one massive blade attached to a chain made of Black Star's shadow, with this he can use the blade for close combat or be thrown as a projectile using the shadow chain to control where it goes. Shadow Star: Second Form-Leaf of the Moonlit Night combines Shadow Star with Shuriken mode which forms a massive black shuriken out of four leaf-like blades that all come from a ring in the center, by putting his hand in the center ring Black Star's arm gets coated in a black gauntlet that can fire lasers. Shadow Star: Third Form-Severed Shadow combines Shadow Star with Ninja Blade mode that turns Tsubaki into a black kunai knife that boosts Black Star's speed to the point where he can effortlessly create afterimages, these afterimages still have mass allowing Black Star to pull off blows from multiple angles. Shadow Star: Fourth Form-Branched Darkness is an extension of Tsubaki's Dummy Star form but grants Tsubaki some of Black Star's wavelength, increasing her power and letting her fight like him. Shadow Star: Zeroth Form-Masamune turns Black Star's shadow into two shadowy scarves around his neck that act as an extension of Black Star, letting him attack, defend, and maneuver with them in ways he couldn't before that are sharp enough to cut through human flesh with ease. Shadow Star: Zeroth Form-Masamune Technique-God Slaying Attack is Black Star's strongest attack, he charges his shadows with power before attacking with them, a monstrous creature and some shadowy swords emerging from the shadows before they attack the opponent. These two aren’t your average meister and weapon; Black Star was DWMA’s 2nd strongest student and even surpassed Death the Kid who was the first and is Lord Death’s son by the end of the manga, Tsubaki defeated her brother by herself, he can out-fight Death the Kid and Professor Stein who is considered by Lord Death to be the greatest meister to graduate DWMA, survived swallowing and spitting up a laser (yes this did happen in the manga) despite suffering internal damage in the process, Black Star is the fastest student in the DWMA, he broke one of the Moon's teeth with a single kick, broke through the Black Blood with his sheer strength alone, held his own against and eventually killed Mifune who is a master samurai, caught and deflected an energy blast with his bare hands, considered to be a Warrior God by kishin Asura who is the strongest being in the Soul Eater universe (As stated by Atsushi Ōkubo who is the author and artist of Soul Eater), and kept fighting with a broken arm and unaligned spine. Black Star is tough but he has some problems to work with. While he’s started to tone down by the end of the manga he’s still somewhat brash and arrogant, focusing on overpowering his foes with sheer strength alone. He’s not very smart outside of battle and not as strong without Tsubaki, and while he calls himself an assassin he lacks or just doesn’t care about the art of stealth.

Rex & Pyra – protagonists of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. In the world of Alrest, warriors called Drivers and their partners called Blades aid their countries by either slaying monsters, serving their countries military or mercenary work. Drivers and Blades work together and depending on the Blade and the will of their Driver can make a name for themselves. However, none could have predicted that the one who became a Driver of a Blade whose power is so great that at full power can destroy continent’s, was a young 15-year-old salvager. After his parents died, Rex was raised in Fonsett Village in Leftherian Archipelago. When he became old enough to leave the village and start his life he became a salvager in the Argentum Trade Guild where he earned his living by performing retrieve and rescue missions. He wasn’t alone though as he lived on the back of Azurda, a small Titan, whom he calls "Gramps”. Rex lived a simple life but with the news of Titans dying he dreamed of one day of finding the legendary land of Elysium, so everyone could live together peacefully. This boy’s life would change forever when one day he accepts a job from a group of Drivers and Blades lead by a masked man named Jin. The job was to, along with other salvagers, bring a large ancient ship to the surface of the cloud sea and retrieve an item that was inside. Jin and his group along with Rex enter the ship and Rex being the first to enter found in a chamber containing a sword and a mysterious red-haired girl. Rex approaches the sword and accidentally touches the emerald Core Crystal on the sword's hilt and Rex was quickly stabbed through the heart by Jin. What I like to think at this point was a realm between life and death, Rex wakes up a large green field and meets the mysterious red-haired girl named Pyra. Pyra reveals herself to be the Blade of the legendary Aegis and makes a deal with Rex; she’ll give Rex half of her life force, effectively reviving him, on the promise that he takes her to the Elysium. Rex accepts the offer and not only was he brought back to life but became a Driver of the most powerful Blade on the planet. Before he became a Driver, Rex had already had some skills called Arts taught to him by Azurda which focused on using the anchor on his salvager suit and basic sword arts. Now with Pyra his skills have evolved, taking on the toughest monsters, Drivers and Blades the world had thrown at him. He’s strong enough to flip over creatures and machines much bigger than him, fast enough to react and dodge lightning, and casually tanks hits from robots and dinosaurs far bigger than him (yes there are dinosaurs in this game and its awesome). While using his Anchor like a grappling hook is useful his main weapon is the Aegis Sword. When Blades are born they each come with a weapon for them and their Driver to use, Pyra’s weapon is a red flame sword not only Rex can use but she can as well. By absorbing ether from his surroundings, Rex can perform these Arts; Anchor Shot shoots his anchor at an enemy causing to topple it, Sword Bash does more damage to enemies from behind, Double Spinning Edge he spins twice dealing more damage to the side and Rolling Smash he does a front flip smashing his sword into an enemy. All blades are one of three types: Attacker, Tanka and Healer with each having an element they can freely manipulate. Pyra is an Attacker with element of fire. Other then control over fire she can channel ether to Rex to perform Arts and can create barriers to protect him. She can also increase Rex’s accuracy and boost the power of the next Driver Art. When the two are in sync they can activate special attacks like Flame Nova which is a small blast of fire, Prominence Revolt creates pillars of fire, Blazing End is a spinning fire attack and Burning Sword both Pyra and Rex grab the Aegis Sword and swing the sword down creating a wave of fire. So as mentioned, Pyra is a Blade called the Aegis so you are probably wondering “What is that? And how is she different from other Blades?”. Aegises are Blades that bear a Core Crystal similar to the shape of the Conduit, an energy source that has the ability to connect to other dimensions and send matter between them. While a Blade becomes a core crystal after their dies and lose their memories during the time they spent with their Driver, Aegises can live after their Drivers death and even have Blades of their own. Pyra may be an Aegis, but she’s not the true Aegis. See it turns out that Pyra is one half of the true Aegis, the other half is Mythra. Pyra can switch into Mythra anytime they want, Mythra has long blond hair and is more powerful then Pyra. Mythra has the element of light and has a unique ability called Foresight which allows her and Rex to see into the future to predict enemy attacks. Like Pyra, she too can project barriers and she can increase critical rate damage and decreases cooldowns on arts. The Aegis Sword changes form by turning white surrounded by light and when they are in sync they perform different special attacks; Ray of Punishment fires arrows of light, Photon Edge moves at lightspeed to cut the enemy instantly, Lightning Buster slices at an enemy with a blade of light and Sacred Arrow rains a barrage of light arrows from above to tear the enemy apart. Rex’s abilities can go even further, when Pyra and Mythra fuse together they become the true Aegis; Pneuma. When Rex unlocked Pneuma he gained the armor and title of Master Driver, meaning he can use any Blade he wants even if it already belongs to another Driver. He also gained a huge power boost, with Pneuma he can fly and move faster than the speed of light! Pneuma embodies the true power of the Aegis, her most notable ability is being able to choose any combo route and perform Blade specials for any element. With Pneuma he can use her specials as well; Starburst is a blast of merciless siren beams through enemies, Radiant Flare attack hostiles with a light-speed attack, Genesis Saber pierces enemies with countless light blades created by ether and Infinity Blade unleashes energy and severs the enemy with a sword of light. Pneuma also increases critical hit rate, boosts Arts recharge from auto-attack and increases power of next Driver Arts. Rex for a kid was able to against Malos, who is also an Aegis, seconds after becoming a Driver and caught on quickly. He learned the Topple skill in seconds which took Vandham years, fought against Morag the strongest Driver in Mor Ardain, fought against Zeke the prince and strongest Driver in the Kingdom of Tantal, fought against Jin an incredibly powerful Blade that controls all elementary particles that allows him to move his body at the speed of light that even surpassed Mythra’s Foresight, from Vandham’s will after he died became the leader of the Urayan Garfont Mercenaries, and saved Alrest by defeating Malos while control the Artifice Aion which had the power to destroy the entire planet. Rex is strong but is still an inexperienced Driver, has to be close to Pyra to get energy from the Aegis, overusing Pyra's or Mythra’s abilities can drain her energy majorly, Pneuma form is only around for a limited time and this is the biggest concern; since Rex shares half of Pyra’s life force they are linked, meaning if one gets hurt the other feels it as well. So, if Rex kicks the bucket during the fight, so will Pyra and Mythra and vice versa.

He’s strong enough to flip over creatures and machines much bigger than him, fast enough to react and dodge lightning, and casually tanks hits from robots and dinosaurs far bigger than him (yes there are dinosaurs in this game and its awesome). While using his Anchor like a grappling hook is useful his main weapon is the Aegis Sword. When Blades are born they each come with a weapon for them and their Driver to use, Pyra’s weapon is a red flame sword not only Rex can use but she can as well. By absorbing ether from his surroundings, Rex can perform these Arts; Anchor Shot shoots his anchor at an enemy causing to topple it, Sword Bash does more damage to enemies from behind, Double Spinning Edge he spins twice dealing more damage to the side and Rolling Smash he does a front flip smashing his sword into an enemy. All blades are one of three types: Attacker, Tanka and Healer with each having an element they can freely manipulate. Pyra is an Attacker with element of fire. Other then control over fire she can channel ether to Rex to perform Arts and can create barriers to protect him. She can also increase Rex’s accuracy and boost the power of the next Driver Art. When the two are in sync they can activate special attacks like Flame Nova which is a small blast of fire, Prominence Revolt creates pillars of fire, Blazing End is a spinning fire attack and Burning Sword both Pyra and Rex grab the Aegis Sword and swing the sword down creating a wave of fire. So as mentioned, Pyra is a Blade called the Aegis so you are probably wondering “What is that? And how is she different from other Blades?”. Aegises are Blades that bear a Core Crystal similar to the shape of the Conduit, an energy source that has the ability to connect to other dimensions and send matter between them. While a Blade becomes a core crystal after their dies and lose their memories during the time they spent with their Driver, Aegises can live after their Drivers death and even have Blades of their own. Pyra may be an Aegis, but she’s not the true Aegis. See it turns out that Pyra is one half of the true Aegis, the other half is Mythra. Pyra can switch into Mythra anytime they want, Mythra has long blond hair and is more powerful then Pyra. Mythra has the element of light and has a unique ability called Foresight which allows her and Rex to see into the future to predict enemy attacks. Like Pyra, she too can project barriers and she can increase critical rate damage and decreases cooldowns on arts. The Aegis Sword changes form by turning white surrounded by light and when they are in sync they perform different special attacks; Ray of Punishment fires arrows of light, Photon Edge moves at lightspeed to cut the enemy instantly, Lightning Buster slices at an enemy with a blade of light and Sacred Arrow rains a barrage of light arrows from above to tear the enemy apart. Rex’s abilities can go even further, when Pyra and Mythra fuse together they become the true Aegis; Pneuma. When Rex unlocked Pneuma he gained the armor and title of Master Driver, meaning he can use any Blade he wants even if it already belongs to another Driver. He also gained a huge power boost, with Pneuma he can fly and move faster than the speed of light! Pneuma embodies the true power of the Aegis, her most notable ability is being able to choose any combo route and perform Blade specials for any element. With Pneuma he can use her specials as well; Starburst is a blast of merciless siren beams through enemies, Radiant Flare attack hostiles with a light-speed attack, Genesis Saber pierces enemies with countless light blades created by ether and Infinity Blade unleashes energy and severs the enemy with a sword of light. Pneuma also increases critical hit rate, boosts Arts recharge from auto-attack and increases power of next Driver Arts. Rex for a kid was able to against Malos, who is also an Aegis, seconds after becoming a Driver and caught on quickly. He learned the Topple skill in seconds which took Vandham years, fought against Morag the strongest Driver in Mor Ardain, fought against Zeke the prince and strongest Driver in the Kingdom of Tantal, fought against Jin an incredibly powerful Blade that controls all elementary particles that allows him to move his body at the speed of light that even surpassed Mythra’s Foresight, from Vandham’s will after he died became the leader of the Urayan Garfont Mercenaries, and saved Alrest by defeating Malos while control the Artifice Aion which had the power to destroy the entire planet. Rex is strong but is still an inexperienced Driver, has to be close to Pyra to get energy from the Aegis, overusing Pyra's or Mythra’s abilities can drain her energy majorly, Pneuma form is only around for a limited time and this is the biggest concern; since Rex shares half of Pyra’s life force they are linked, meaning if one gets hurt the other feels it as well. So, if Rex kicks the bucket during the fight, so will Pyra and Mythra and vice versa.

Rex- “Ahh! No, what? I didn’t mean it like that! You're just, erm, really good at making fires... That's all.”
