Half human, half machine, this is the cyborg. Manfred Clynes, a scientist who studies biological systems and neurophysiology, in 1960 used this term to describe the need for mankind to artificially enhance biological functions in order to survive in the hostile environment of Space. In modern terms cyborgs are fictional or hypothetical people whose physical abilities are extended beyond the average human limitations by mechanical elements built into the body. These two once fully human are now enhanced, powerful, weaponized and made for combat;

Battle of the Cyborg’s!

Genos- S-Class hero and student of Saitama. When Genos was 15 and still a human, he couldn’t be happier and more at peace living with his family. One tragic day however, a cyborg attacked their town and destroyed it, killing his family during the rampage. Genos miraculously survived, but he wouldn't have survived long if he wasn't found by Dr. Kuseno who passed the town pursuing the cyborg. Genos begged Dr. Kuseno to transform him into a cyborg to get revenge which the doctor agreed. Genos was reborn as a arson fighting cyborg that fights for justice and promised Dr. Kuseno that one day he would find and destroy the cyborg. For four years, Genos traveled from town to town defeating monsters and evil organizations growing stronger but has been unable to find the cyborg. Genos entire body has been replaced with combat-ready cybernetics and prostheses, giving him an extreme level of strength and speed as well as advanced sensors and projectile attacks. As a cyborg Genos does not seem to feel pain, and he can keep fighting even with missing limbs or if he is injured severely. Genos durability continues despite taking several powerful blows from Carnage Kabuto, and having one of his own powerful blasts reflected at him, he was still conscious and able to stand and walk. Genos' cybernetic body contains a number of sensors which allow him to scan the environment for enemies, both during active combat and while scouting from a distance. The sensors are not perfect however, as they can still be fooled by foes with extreme speed like Saitama, and their usefulness is limited by Genos' reaction time meaning he may be able to see it coming but might have the reaction time to actually dodge it. Genos also possess a set of boosters on his shoulders that give him great acceleration, enough to keep up with Saitama and he can use his palms for jet propulsions to the opposite direction, performing rapid maneuvers. After defeating a battle robot called G4, Genos replaces his parts with the parts of G4 which enhanced his speed and power. This allows him to keep up with Sonic, one of the fastest characters in the series and even cut off his hair, moving so fast it looked like he was teleporting. After his fight with Sonic he was given Adhesive Gel, an extremely sticky gel that prevents fast opponents from moving. Genos has a prototype weapon he carries in a form of a suit case called Arms Mode, once activated he gets a new set of black cybernetic arms that allow him to move his core to the shoulder of his right arm, directing all of his power into a massive blast. Another key feature is his core, his power source which can take out and place on his shoulder to fire an almighty heat beam. Genos fighting style can be both long range and close quarters, able to fight foes like Sea King for certain amount of time with just an arm. Genos can throw a chain of fast punches strong enough to shatter a cliff face. Genos can also fire his lower arms for rocket punches which can be reattached after use by a cable on his elbows and hit with extreme force. Genos can also shock opponents with electric punches and to make his attacks more powerful he’ll use his boosters for his punches and kicks. Genos can also use his eye to produce a flash of light to blind his enemies. But what I like about Genos is his arsenal, Genos fire power is all heat based, powerful enough to incinerate an entire city of mosquitos in seconds (500m). Genos palms contain ports which allow him to fire large and powerful blasts of heat at significant distances. A blast from his palms was powerful enough to obliterate a multistory building which was the base of House of Evolution. While sparring with Saitama, Genos reveals cannons built into his fists and arms which can produce even stronger blasts. Genos has also been shown to have great control on his heat abilities as he is able to reduce the power of his blasts to a warm breeze, which he uses to dry dishes. As a last resort, if there is no chance in winning in a combat, Genos can overheat his core and detonate himself destroying him and hopefully his opponent. Genos is a very powerful hero; he is ranked 14 in the S-Class hero, Defeated Armored Gorilla single handedly without taking much damage, Got perfect scores on the Heroes Association Exam in both written and fitness, Matched the Evolved Sea King and protected the civilians at J-City, Defeated G-4 who was created to destroy King who is a S-Class hero, and Defeated Speed-o-Sound Sonic. Genos is very calm and analytical as he always analyzes the situation and prepares before attacking an opponent, even willing to make use of the environment around him. Genos is a powerhouse but tends to challenge opponents that are sometimes too tough for him as his goal is to get stronger and most of these incidents he’ll get beaten till he’s nothing more than a head. Although he can control it he relies mostly on destructive attacks which can be both good and bad. If you think he’s awesome, wait till you see what his mentors like………..

Android 18- Gero’s 18th Android and Android 17’s sister. Originally a human named Lazuli and the oldest of her twin brother Lapis, the twins were notorious delinquents who Dr. Gero would meet by chance while looking for fresh material for his experiments. Gero then kidnapped them and restructured them into Android 18 and Android 17. Dr. Gero who is also an android himself, once was part of crime organization called The Red Ribbon Army. He designed the Red Ribbon's weaponry and created the first androids in the service of the Red Ribbon Army because mechs can be captured and be used by the enemy while Androids can think for themselves. The Red Ribbon Army was not the primary reason why Dr. Gero desired to create androids and cyborgs, turns out he had always dreamed of replacing the entire human race with artificial beings. But Gero had to go into hiding after Goku defeated the Red Ribbon Army. He hid in a lab hidden in the mountains and still strives to create the ultimate fighting machine. Using an extremely intelligent tracking device disguised as a ladybug, he studied Goku and the Z Fighters from a far for years observing the fights Goku has with Tien Shinhan, King Piccolo, Piccolo, and the Saiyans Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta. After the death of Android 19 Gero activates both Android 17 and 18 and after Gero refuses to activate Android 16, Android 17 punches Gero's chest, decapitates him, and squashes his head (Overkill?). The two activate Android 16 and pursue their quest to find Goku in the Cell Saga. She is the second artificial human, between her and her twin brother, designed by Dr. Gero to be created by fitting a human being with both bio-mechanical and cybernetic enhancements. Android 18 is extremely powerful, able to easily overpower even the typical Super Saiyan. Thanks to Gero’s observations, 18 has learned and mastered different forms of attacks and martial arts; She can use the Afterimage technique which is an ability to move so swiftly that an image of the user is left behind, thrust out a barrier from her body that can be used to both defend against oncoming projectiles or expand and damage its surroundings, from her husband Krillin she learned the Destructo Disk which is a powerful razor-sharp disk of ki energy capable of slicing through nearly any opponent and she later improved by being able to summon two Destructo Disks in the form of a pincer attack making the technique harder to avoid, she can fire multiply ki attacks and can fire several concentrated yellow spheres of energy around her opponent which result in an explosion inflicting heavy damage, can fire rays from her finger, can fly without the use of ki, can fire continuous energy bullets from her palms called Infinity Bullets, she also has a move called Sadistic 18 which is a rush attack where she does her signature leg kick she uses to break her opponent's arm then ends it with a grapple toss, Deadly Dance is another rush attack where 18 generates a blue sphere on both hands and then attacks the opponent with punches and kicks that knocks them into the air and unleashes a series of dance-like kicks capable of deflecting ki blasts, can unleash a powerful slap attack combo (Lmao), her Triangular Kick is when she comes back a bit then hops up-forward and comes down-right at a 45 degree angle with a kick and can do the same thing with her hip, Energy Jet is a ground shave ki energy blade Android 18 throws down at the ground and it travels along to ground towards the enemy, Flash Beam an explosive energy sphere Androids 18 throws on the ground to attack her opponent, she convert the Destructo Disks into Destructo Missiles and fires three missile out of her back and they home in on the opponent, and 18 can even absorb ki and stamina from her opponents. Android 18 is capable of detecting other Androids as she does so when trying to get back up against Broly and she can detect the waves emitted by the Dragon Balls. Android 18 is fitted with a device that gives her a continuous and virtually infinite energy supply, this prevents her from becoming exhausted while fighting and augments her power enough to make her a formidable opponent. Just like her brother, her cybernetic implants do not affect her ability to gain new skills and power levels through training like able to learn Krillin's signature Destructo Disk. She strong enough to break Vegeta’s arm while he was in Super Saiyen form with a single kick, can hold her own against two Super Saiyans simultaneously, held her own against the combined duo of SSJ Kid Goten and Kid Trunks until they abandoned the fight, had Mister Satan on the ropes until she let him win (Which isn’t much of a feat for those who know Satan…), aided Goten, Krillin and Trunks to defeat the clone of Broly Bio-Broly, assisted Goku to defeat her brother Super Android 17 after he killed her husband, Practically ragdolled Super Saiyan Future Trunks, broke the latter's sword by simply blocking with her arm, and she and 17 defeated most of the Z fighters like Piccolo, Trunks, Tien Shinhan, and Vegeta. Despite her strength she’s actually weaker than her brother 17 and 16, she’s also very cocky and sometimes short tempered, electric discharges can shut her down, and fighters of a superior caliber like Broly and Bio Broly can likely bring her down despite her limitless stamina. 18 is probably one of the best female fighters in Dragonball history.
