PERSONAL

        ||Backstory;
    Russet was born like any other blikkim; created in a small pool of ink. His bottom right arm was occasionally stiff, making it hard to move almost all the time, thus dragging him down to the lower ranks. There, he decided that the best job for him was the job of a medic; aiding the sick and wounded. He was soon able to fix the stiffness in his arm, but continued on with his job, as he had formed a liking to it. He had also found a beautiful blikkin, by the name of "Indigo," who one day became mates with him. One fateful day, however, he had been demanded to heal a soldier, who was heavily injured beyond saving. Still a teenager, without any knowledge of how to fix the deadly wounds, he struggled to find out how to heal the blikkim. After about three hours of extensive surgery, Russet failed miserably, resulting in the death of the soldier. Hoping no one would find out, he quickly dragged him out to bury him when no other blikkims were around. Russet spent the next month hiding the secret, saying "I cured him, then he left while you were all away. No worries!" when asked what had happened. He knew it wasn't working from the suspicious glares he received every time he gave them the same answer, and they had soon discovered what had truly happened. Russet, desperate to stay alive, fled to a small planet not far from his home world after Indigo had been killed by his enemies, and joined Space Garden not long after to continue in his research, hoping to become a better medic.

          ||Personality;

           Relentless; Russet is known to never give up, no matter what. If he's trying to save a patient, he won't stop until they are saved or dead. If fighting someone, he won't stop until he wins or looses. Basically, he won't quit at almost anything, unless he knows it's impossible or he doesn't feel too good. This also means that he tends to keep on going, even if the fights already been drawn as a tie. Nevertheless, If you want a partner that tries his best, this is probably the right guy for you.

           Determined; When he comes upon a decision, he will stick to it like glue, and will only change if given a great enough reason. He won't slack off and he will try hard in even just a simple argument.

           Mature; Russet isn't crazy in the head (Unless provoked enough, then he'll possibly snap... possibly...) He stays level-headed in situations that might cause the younger, more in-experienced crew members to freak out or act stupid. He isn't afraid to challenge authority higher than him if he has his reasons, but other than that, he will obey the higher ranked. He rarely ever causes a fight for such petty causes, but from time to time, he'll be agitated or just grieving, and the wrong move could set him off easily.

           Discreet; If you have secrets to tell him, he will do everything he can to keep it between you and him. Russet doesn't even like it when someone tries to tell him some secret that he'll most likely be uninterested in, but when he does listen, you can trust him to not let it out. He also avoids embarrassing and dramatic moments at all costs, as he does not like drawing attention to himself and causing awkward moments for others.

    -- Role-play Example; (From another Sci-fi alien rp I'm in) The strong rays of the sun shafted through the blinds on the window, shining on Kirakutus' two pairs of eyes. He sneezed and slowly sat up, still feeling too tired to do anything, though his instincts told him to get up and go on with his daily routines. The Budrilion stretched as best as he could and rubbed the side of his thick-scaled head, his eyes taking a few minutes to adjust to the brightness of his room. He didn't bother making himself all nice and dandy, just taking a quick shower and putting on some kind of decent outfit. Kirakutus stepped outside hesitantly, desperately wishing that he had a day off, but today was just one of the many days of working 'till you were too tired to move a single muscle. He stared at a few other fellow inhabitants of the city, and waved as they passed by him, though they didn't pay much attention. He stretched again and immediately headed off to the main Trade Station of the planet, where they exported and imported fine machinery from and to other empires. It wasn't that far, really, it was only a few miles form where he lived, which he was thankful for. The planet's terrain was mostly just rock and sand, and the air was almost always hot thanks to the straight axis.
