POV: You wake up laying on a couch in a tiny, candle-lit wooden cabin. You realize a halfling woman is standing at your side, staring at you with a worried frown. Seeing you're awake, she greets you, stating she found you unconscious on the forest ground and she brought you to safety in her hut. She adds you're wounded and she's been preparing a healing potion for you. Giving you a faint smile, she turns towards a small kitchen in one of the room's corners, and she starts chopping something while humming to herself.
You look around. The messy room reminds you of an apothecary workshop, except it's overgrown by vegetation. Dried herbs and live plants are hanging everywhere. The air is saturated with a pungent smell reminiscent of smoke, old spices, fungi and decayed verdure. The wind howling outside barely covers the ominous bubbling of the mixtures in the cauldrons. And, with a gasp, you notice it, staring right at you from behind a cabinet - a small leafy creatures that looks like a bipedal vegetable.
What will you do? Stay here? Attempt to flee? The choice is yours...

A study of my new halfling hole in FFXIV - her crazy herbalist lab nested deep into the forest. Talls are allowed, just be careful not to bump your head on the ceiling. And beware, Bud the kidragora is watching you.

Overall I am... a bit disappointed with that painting Thing is, I tried showcasing 3/4 of the room in one go, using a very wide angle. But both the dark setting and the lack of proper focus yielded a pretty unappealing result - muddy browns everywhere. Moreover, all these objects were so tiny on the canvas (literal blobs of pixels), I couldn't detail them properly. Add my chronic health issues and my shaky hands to the mix, making it a real pain to draw anything... Still posting it tho, otherwise I'd feel like I wasted my time

Context (game ramblings):
I was absurdly lucky on my first try ever at the housing lottery (love you, 5, my beloved lucky number), and got my alt character a small cottage in the Lavender Beds. I had grand ideas for it: the upper floor was to be made into a vintage cottage for my old Lalafellin couple, Gramps and Grannie; while the basement should host a magical forest, with a tiny witch house nested in it. That witchsy hideaway was the first thing I designed and I got very excited about how its setup... Only to realize 200 items wouldn't be enough for both floors I'm planning to redo the exact same design, but on the other side of the basement (south instead of north), so both the inside and outside can get those nice sunrays during the day; plus this will allow the bedroom alcove to be nicely tucked below the room's structure without needing extra furniture.
I really look forward to the 7.x Dawntrail patch that will up the item limit. Crossing my fingers for it to be of +50% at least: 300 items would be enough for my project imo.
