Description

Bonnie tossed and turned for hours. Her body was tired but her mind was to active to drift off to sleep. After a couple hours, she couldn't take just lying there anymore. She got up and walked to the large window in the living room.
The full moon was high in the sky. In the moonlight Bonnie could make out the outline of the waves crashing against the shore. She walked outside and sat on her porch to get a better view.
She wasn't sure how long she listened to the sound of the ocean beating against land. After a while the waves weren't all that she heard.
"Bonnie. Bonnnnnnnnnie." a female voice called.
The voice could barely be heard over the ocean sounds causing Bonnie to have to concentrate to make sure she heard anything at all.
"Bonnie. Come back." the voice called.
"Who's there?" she yelled out into the night.
"Come back. I need you." the voice replied. It sounded like it was coming from the beach.
Bonnie's curiosity got the better of her. She stood up and walked down to the beach. "Where are you?" she called.
"Out here." the voice answered.
Bonnie looked around. "Out where?"
"Out here in the water. Come join me."
"Swimming at night is a really bad idea. Why don't you come on shore.?"
The voice giggled The reply came in the form of a slow and sweet sounding song.
The music was the most beautiful sound Bonnie had ever heard. Before she knew it she was standing waist deep in the ocean.
Bonnie felt something pull her down into the dark water as the voice stopped singing. Once her eyes adjusted, she saw the same mermaid with the emerald green tail from earlier that day.
"Your not getting away this time. You are all mine." The mermaid said and then planted another kiss on her.
Bonnie tried to push the mermaid off so she could get back to the surface. The harder she struggled the tighter the mermaid held her. Bonnie opened her mouth to scream for help.
