12 gauge, sawed-off, pump action, it's specially hurtful at close range... if i learned something about guns in video games and movies is that you will get close... so darn close, and a shotgun is great to get rid of whole mobs or homicidal maniacs... that for some reason don't feel like stopping after the first 3 shots point-blank, also, anyone who entered your house would run away as soon as you cock the gun, they know the sound and will run instead of trying to face someone with a shotgun, because they know that even if they shot the wielder, the shotgun will go off and probably blow off something they can't live without.
