FULLVIEW RECOMMENDED. A lot of the detailing gets lost in the thumbnail.Yet another update on the bombed out metropolis for my 3D project. Unless anyone can come up with a good reason why this shouldn't be the final to be used in the movie, I think I will go wí th this one.

I love the effect of the whole city practically hollow, and when a building collapses onto another one, the supports splinter and everything slides onto the street, followed by the entire building in millions of pieces causing a massive roadblock.
The Mech could be done better, or maybe a squad of them doing something important...

Sweet! Reminds me of the 2nd level of "walker" on the amiga. I'd rather see a robot like like the one in that rather than a manga style one, but your buildings rock bigstyle. Well done you.

wow... intense.. amazing sense of mood there.. gets an emotional response. the lopsided ground plane really adds to the colossal sense of ruin. excellent use of atmospheric perspective.

Heh, I cant think of anything to change on it.. The compositing is right on (nice job with the titled camera angle)...texturing..lighting..everything looks perfect.

Wow. The only thing I didnt like was the way the buildings were all the same. Modern skyscrapers have some pretty different architecture going on.(more time, i noe) Or maybe I just want to see that uber cool pyramidic building in san francisco...either way. Oh, and some of the debris was a bit too squared. Those but have been bombed out of buildings, so a little roughness around the edges, gouges and what not, would help make it more realistic. Love the lighting.

Yeah, see what you mean 'bout the buildings being too "perfect". But alas, my computer was dying even as it is, more detail would make it blow up. The scene is already ticking in at 1.2 million faces, so...*ack*
