Description FULLVIEW RECOMMENDED. A lot of the detailing gets lost in the thumbnail.

A trooper on patrol in the desicated remains of a bombed out metropolis. The city, seemingly as lifeless as a tomb, seems to be watching his every movement...
Or something like that. Made as a location design for my 3D project. Modelled and rendered in 3D Studio MAX, painted most of the lighting effects on directly in Photoshop.

Love the burned-out look of it all.

only thing with this that I forgot to say cause I was so blown away is the laser on the weapon looks a little off it's too bright or not like foggy looking enough cause it's traveling through the dust right? that would give it the affect like the dust in the sun light and fade the laser out a littl bit but I love this <3

that laser beam is cool and also the lights out of the body armor

but what really kicked me, were those deformated buildings in part 2

Caw dem troopers look awesome. This is so brillo, you could make a movie or game about it.

I like how the solider's laser stands out ... gives it the sneak em up theme.

i think you should go with full round machine gun, not lasers, but that my opinion.. i like guns, not space guns.. haha

I love it, but... the only thing i see that need to be improved is the foreground. In the front at the bottom i think it needs to show more detail, take away the fog a little, show more detail on the soldier and on the grounds hes standing on. Other then that, its amazing! Oh, yea, also put some cuts in ot the lazer, its looks to much like a lazer sword. You know now if you have a lazer pen and you turn it on durring rain, or mist it will show a line, but not a full solid line. I love the background, you did an amazing job on it. Good Job. Cant wait to see more.

oh dear its beautiful... the only thing that distracts me is that the character is standing so close to the border in this image.. and the fact that the laser light doesnt have any kind of uhm how u say like a surround aroun it? like around it it may be affected by laser light? as it brightsΒΏ

the backrounds great, but some things on the soldier doesn't realy fit in, the colors on the laser and eyes stands out to mutch when you lok at all the foggyness in the backround
