Description Mineral(s): Fluorite
Locality: Cerro Sarambi, Concepción Department, Paraguay

Not much to this one other than it's a single, very glassy fluorite cube to 3.8 cm on edge. The color is a rather unusual olive-bottle brown color. If you look closely at the surface, there are a multitude of little tiny squares (they look like dots from afar) which are minor surface growths of the fluorite. There are also a few surface fractures that have a slightly rough appearance because those fractured areas have been rehealed/recrystallized. There are also some internal fractures, one which produces a nice rainbow refraction towards the middle right of the photo. Probably the most unusual thing is that this fluorite is from a country not really known for collectible minerals.
