Yet another fluorite specimen I attempted to backlight in a weird way. Thinner or more transparent crystals illuminate into a purple-magenta color with a yellow interior and thin edge phantoms in various shades of purple. Thicker and less transparent crystals (or opaque in the case of the small chalcopyrite crystal on the left side), become just a dark, shady patch. Without any backlighting, this specimen appears entirely a deep purple without much hint of yellow.
