I love goldfinches. The flowers are beautful and have great color but I think the goldfinch is a little to bright. I like the effect you have, it adds more to the photo. Nice job.

The goldfinch is very bright, but before I messed with the colors he kinda didn't pop out really well. I went overboard on making him "pop" out.

I do that sometimes too. It's hard to get it right sometimes

The only critiscism I have is that maybe the contrast is too much, the detail of the gold finch has been washed away by colour.
Otherwise a great photo, and a nice shot too. I find it hard to catch animals like birds on camera because they usually fly away too fast.

I did mess with the colors a little on the computer. I wanted to get everything kinda brighter because all the plants were dull from the summer heat. However I did go a little crazy on it

It's probably 'cause it's focusing on it (as it's in the middle). Maybe, otherwise it's just a mystery.
