Maria is mood.
Maria's lifelong dream is actually to be an artist for children's books.
She's had the aspiration since high school, but with marriage, co-owning a cafe,
plans for divorce, and then having to get a second job, she's never really gotten the chance to fairly pursue her dreams.

She still draws frequently to unwind, but Maria hasn't shared any of her drawings for years.
Luckily the pregnancy gives her more reasons (excuses) to sit down and draw for a while.
