Description Three out of Five Titans down, next up are Roy and Donna... I think I'm forgetting someth- OH YEAH! The story... Here goes.

After the retirement of Aquaman due to a near fatal injury, he told his wife of the coming danger, and feared Kaldur was not enough to help protect the surface. After his mastery of his new found magic abilities, Mera tasked Garth to assist the surface along with the other heroes of Earth. Upon accepting his new mission from his queen, his first encounter with Darkseid's parademons was a rather unfortunate one, as he himself was almost killed, if not for the assistance of the new Batman and Flash. After thanking the surface dwellers for their assistance, he was offered a leadership position in a new team of young heroes. Garth now took his place as one of the five leaders in the newly formed "Titans" as the Tempest.

Actually, Garth was shown to have a New 52 design.. DC just didn't go through with it.

Garth is the one from Teen Titans... Why they made his suit blue is a mystery to mankind.. However Garth's appearance in Young Justice was kind of a nod toward his Teen Titans counterpart. Β  images.wikia.com/youngjustice/…
