Nikko had gotten away from his mother while she was changing his sister and had somehow evaded the servants the family had brought with them. He had been found naked in a fountain.

“And the worst part is that the Empress was the one who found him,” Dionoro said with a smirk and a glance at his wife.

“Oh, I was so embarrassed,” she covered her eyes and shook her head.
