I figured I'd give ol Percival-Taylor here a little facelift for Artfight. love this guy tbh, he's so angy lmao.

I'm excited for P.T.'s chapter!! His chapter is up next!! I literally cannot wait to draw him and Mercutio trying to beat the shit out of each other while exchanging witty dialogue that could be confused with sexual innuendos. FUCK I love these two and I cannot WAIT to introduce them to my readers.

Gender: Transgender male (He/Him)

Accent/Voice/Speaking: Percival has a deep, eloquent, gentle voice. However, he sometimes has this really scary "I'm pissed off" tone that just rumbles in his throat, like some serious Idris Elba shit. He is blunt and straight to the point when speaking, with clear diction and precise wording. Rarely does he waste time with stuttering or small talk. He speaks in a standard RP British accent.

Magic Status: Incredibly talented magic user. Gifted in combat magic, particularly the Elemental Arts: A type of combat art that combines hand-to-hand fighting with elemental manipulation. P.T. is primarily skilled in Terrakenisis.

Height/Body: P.T. is a little short, only 5'5", but packs a mighty punch. As expected of elves, P.T. has a stocky, burly figure with some serious muscle action going on. This boy is fucking ripped. He has a few scars on his shoulders, back, and legs from his time in battle.

Resents his older half sister, Felice-Soleil (unlisted). To this day, P.T. feels betrayed and left behind by her. Sometimes, he worries about her, and wonders if she'll ever come back. Other times, he hopes she never does. Even into his adult years, P.T. is incredibly conflicted, and doesn't know what to think.
Close friend of Branch Copperpock . When these two first met, they had a bit of a F.W.B. thing going on, but they're just bros now. Being both men of academics and influence, they get along swimmingly. Branch is one of the few people that doesn't annoy P.T., and one of the few people he trusts wholeheartedly.
Mentor of Dakota Dupain . P.T. became a mentor for the young soldier, and taught him everything he knows in swordsmanship. He is quite proud of him, and genuinely respects his hard work and skill.
Sworn enemy of Mercutio Finch . P.T. and Mercutio's rivalry is known throughout the country as the most vicious, long lasting rivalries in history. These two have been chasing each other for ages, and swear their hatred for each other; but deep down, there's solid respect. And they're also obliviously in love.
Older cousin of Hector Levesque . P.T. and Hector are close, despite their polar opposite personalities. Even in his busy princey life, P.T. will always oblige if Hector requests to meet up with him. Big ol' softy loves his cousin tbh.

Personality/Backstory: Percival-Taylor is kind of a stick in the mud, whose straightforward, 'get-things-done' attitude can sometimes bum people out. He's blunt, stoic, no-nonsense, and a little bit intimidating. His resting bitch face tends to make people think he's mad all the time, which, he isn't; he's smiling on the inside. Percival-Taylor is a very intelligent, very noble person. When his people are in danger, he will stop at nothing to ensure their safety, even if it means putting his life on the line. He can be coldblooded when he needs to be, but he's not one to believe in unnecessary violence. Maybe he doesn't seem like it on the surface, but P.T. is a very, very good man. More than anything, he is charitable and selfless, and is beloved by his people for it. He is also known as being 100% fair; if he faces an enemy with no weapon, he'll drop his sword and fight hand-to-hand. Everything P.T. does is not because he has to or because it's his job, but simply because he thinks it is the right thing to do.

The best example of P.T.'s voice is like,, that Right Opinion guy on Youtube?? I've only watched like,,,one video of his but that's the exact voice I have in mind. Like the pitch, the delivery, the cadence, everything.
Percy came out and transitioned around age 12.
Like many royals, P.T. has a strange gift; a singing voice so beautiful, he can summon animals. This phenomenon still cannot be explained, and most chalk it up to genetic magic in the royal family.
His middle name, 'Linhei', was his father's name. It is a common name in Dahn Dastane, his father's native country. Dahn Dastane (either donda-stahnay or don-dasta-nay, both are correct) is based primarily on East Asian culture. In terms of real world places, P.T. is mixed, being half Caucasian, half East Asian.
P.T. is incredibly good with children, no matter the age. Though some kids are initially scared of him (bc everyone is), he's quick to calm them down. Many young soldiers in the royal guard, most of whom commonly come from broken or lost homes, often find guidance and assurance in him.
P.T. was the first child born between Queen Mauvline and King Linhei, the latter of which was native to a previously rival kingdom, Dahn Dastane. Since his parents married to join the two countries, P.T. was the very first Arabesquian heir to be mixed heritage. He has two younger twin sisters, and previously had an older half sister; his father's first daughter. His older sister, Felice-Soleil, was originally set to take the throne, but P.T. took her place at age thirteen after she mysteriously disappeared one day. Only P.T. knows that she actually left on her own accord.
