AHHH yeah, here come's another one that will set you back. Remember that first kiss. Well, here's mine... sort of.

So, I was at another house party with my girlfriend Lisa. We were dancing out in the living room with everyone else, until one of Lisa's friends pulls me over and says one of the rooms are empty. I'm nervous, because, weeks of talk and preparation was leading to this moment. And when I mean, talk and preparation, I just mean going over the plans of "making out with my girlfriend" with my friends. NONE of us are experienced AT ALL. So it was all just all TALK.

I sheepishly walk back to Lisa and timidly ask her to join me. She agrees and we walk to the back bedroom. Lisa's friends are trailing behind us. I can hear their muffled giggles.

So here I am with Lisa in one of the bedrooms. I can still hear the party going on through the walls. I'm fairly certain that Lisa's friends are on the other side of the door, listening in. I've got butterflies in my stomach and clammy hands... Lisa is just sitting there. She's looking at me, waiting... and waiting. It feels like ages, So I go for it. I kiss her. On her cheek.

and that's it.

I get $#!t for this from my friends and mostly from my buddies' sister Yvonne. Because, technically I didn't even get to "first base". Because I kissed her on her cheek. Not even on her lips. You kiss your mother and aunts on their cheeks... Screw them. they weren't there. That kiss was powerful. Only I and Lisa can attest to that, and since Lisa ain't here. I'm telling you... that kiss... was AMAZING!
