Description So I played a game of Kaiserreich following a 'pacifist' policy of not joining France's Third Internationale, keeping my conscription law as Disarmed, getting Annie Kenney as Chairman and avoiding any foreign entanglements if at all possible.

This didn't quite go to plan as for a long part of the game I was at war with both Mitteleuropa and the Entente. The Internationale fell to joint Mitteleuropa-Entente invasion but in turn Germany fell to Russia and Austria. The German government fled to East Asia where they survived until Japan's ally Fengtian decided they wanted southern China back. The Entente on the other hand went to war with Russia to get back half of France, with Japan to protect India and with the American Union State. The AUS went to war with everyone in North America and finally died in 1954, surrendering to the Entente until the Entente in turn surrendered to Japan. Japan and Russia at war because Russia wants Mongolia and Central Asia and Japan wants to dominate the Pacific. So Britain is once more at peace, and I successfully managed to keep my pacifist policies in place with girthy naval and air forces and a frankly ludicrous quantity of fortification.

Syndicalist Britain and Imperial Japan, an unlikely alliance if there ever was one. What are Japanese Special Administrations, and how do they differ from puppets?

EDIT: nevermind, I found your notes on AH.com.

In game, the Special Administrations were directly annexed to Japan, its a bit of flavour I added. I think there are three Special Administrations, the one in the devastated American South, which might even end up being colonised by Japanese settlers who knows, the one in the West Africa which acts as the centre for controlling the distant West African satellites, and the Japanese East Indies which is like a weird fusion of British Raj, Dominion and Reichskommissariat.

Russia and Japan are at war, and this shows the frontlines as of Christmas morning 1955.
