I like how you shade the characters with that style of colouring and how yo do so soft lines but with solid volumes in characters and backgrounds. Do you do the straight lines manualy or with a ruler tool? I ask due to the softness of the lines.

doing straight lines is very easy. Just click once the canvas, press and keep pressing TAB and click again somewhere. The line will be perfectly straight. ^^
