I love pen and ink, and seeing what kind of techniques people experiment with in order to create different effects when they use it. c:
To me, all the white space is a bit unappealing, but I don't know what I'd suggest to change that.Maybe a light ink wash over part of the background or something? I dunno, maybe not. Anyway, you're talented, and I hope you do more with pen and ink.

I used a toothbrush 
I do love the idea of some light ink wash. I'm a sucker for a bit of off-white color. This was a school project though and the teacher wanted that white space. But it's done now, so I guess I could change it if I find the original. Or even just add it to the digital copy.
