normally don't care one way or the other about something being color or not because just your line art alone make stuff appeal to me. But this piece apppeals to me alot more colored I guess because the hotter girls have more detailed now to not be overpwoered by the less hotter ones as much

Fantastic work!
The dwarf could almost be my WoW hunter, Hanna Stormhand.
The elf and the human are at least following one of the traditional conventions of fantasy adventure. ^_^
Thanks for sharing!

Might be Dungeons and Dragons.

Yep, that's what it looks like to me. D&D 4th, specifically. Dwarf, human, elf, and a doppelganger, because 4th has a whole pile of really weird races available.

Weird as in unusual in origin, powers, appearance, and general flavor. Where elves, dwarves, halflings, humans, orcs, gnomes, and everything in between can be regarded as a staple of fantasy, easily fit into a wide variety of settings, are open to interpretation, and are relatively grounded in a variety of real world historical legends, stuff in 4th edition doesn't really come from ANY source material, it's just stuff Wizards made up. They feel gimmicky, tacky, comic book-y, just a bit off, a bit too unusually specific.
Devas, for example, are a group of immortals from a celestial plane, somewhat derived from what passed for angels in 3rd edition. Except that's not the end of it, their life cycle is based on repeated reincarnations and memories derived from those reincarnations.
Eladrin are elves, but they're extra-dimensional super-elves from a plane called the Feywild who have the power to teleport; it wasn't enough to just have "high elves" and "wood elves," they had to embellish.
Then you've got Dragonborn, who take the place of half-orcs as "the big race" in the default ruleset and who you could only chalk up to fans who want to play as dragons or half-dragons.
Then there's Tieflings, previously a type of planetouched with demonic heritage, now embellished to a full-blown race of half-demon people who're commonplace enough to be walking around along with all the other default races.
There's also "Shifters," who're a kind of watered-down lycanthrope. Not werewolves, but GOOD werewolves without the weakness or the stigma, who have control over themselves.
And, as I said, they do have doppelgangers as a race in one of the books, or something derived from doppelgangers--an unusual race that can shapeshift, now standardized as of, I believe, the PHB3.
It doesn't end there, either. They've got a playable race of giants, minotaurs, people made out of crystal, the Githyanki, who were dimension-hopping psychic pirates to begin with, all kinds of unusually narrowcasted races whose purpose isn't entirely clear apart from providing a wide array of shiny, over-embellished options. Of the lot I described only the Dragonborn, Eladrin, and Tieflings are part of the Players' Handbook 1, but even those are a bit of a stretch for most settings flavor-wise, particularly as common races.
Well. You get the idea. I figure this is a 4th edition group here and that the doppelganger is one of their party members.

Yeah those are a bit odd. Though I quite like the idea of the shifters.
